What: Brainfood will be holding its first annual Brainfood Grill-Off. Teams will support Brainfood's mission while competing for the Brainfood Skillet Award.

Marc Silverstein of The Food Network's The Best of Series

will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

Participating Restaurants Include:

Zaytinya, Cafe Atlantico, Zola, Jaleo, Butterfield 9, Matchbox, Equinox, Clyde's, Ruth's Chris and Indigo Landing.

Each team will receive a surprise pantry of ingredients and will have one hour to create a culinary masterpiece. The Grill-Off will be judged by a panel of foodies: local chefs, local food writers and personalities, restaurant owners, and Brainfood students.

Who: Attendees will include Brainfood donors, corporate supporters and DC food lovers. Teams will be made up of community members, a professional chef from one of DC's premier restaurants, and a Brainfood student.

When & Where: June 28th, 2007 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at the Hotel Monaco in downtown DC

How to get involved:

• Recruit a team and compete in the Brainfood Grill-Off.
• Become a corporate sponsor or enter a team.
• Buy tickets to the event and bring all your friends. Tickets are $75.00 each and include dinner, open bar and entertainment .
